The SF2 ECCR is the most popular sidemount rebreather in the world. Its compact
size, light weight, and robust structure make the SF2 Sidemount a popular and reliable
companion for exploration dives around the globe. The basic components are from
the SF2 backmount version. The SF2 Sidemount has the same compact electronic
chamber and the same inner bellows. The upper and lower tube are made of a very
light yet durable carbon fiber.
Sidemount Loop
The SF2 Sidemount Rebreather has a mouthpiece specially made for this use. In
collaboration with the best sidemount divers in the world, we have developed a unique
mouthpiece with excellent performance. The mouthpiece is extremely compact and
can be easily disassembled via quick-release fasteners.
Sidemount Frame
To keep the SF2 Sidemount Rebreather even slimmer, it has a special frame. This
frame is made of stainless steel and nestles very close to the carbon tubes. Thus,
there are no protruding parts.

Attachment
To configure the SF2 Sidemount Rebreather as close to
the body as possible, it has three attachment points. A Ubow
on the head and two large Boltsnaps in the middle
range, which are held via a hose clamp with a special Dring.
Manual Control & External Gas Supply
Also the SF2 Sidemount offers the possibility of manual
gas supply for diluent and oxygen. Compactly integrated
into the middle section are the push-buttons, which are not
only marked, but also mounted in such a way that they can
be distinguished by feeling under water. Both buttons are
protected by a case. Manual gas feeding is done via our
proven combination of One Way Valve and Quick
Disconnect.
